How someone opts in

Consent is given in person or over the phone, to Love Moves staff — there is no way to sign up from this page, and Love Moves never adds a number on someone else’s behalf.

1. The person gives Love Moves their own mobile number — usually on an intake form, or in conversation with a staff member.
2. Staff read or show them the consent wording reproduced below.
3. The person says yes.
4. Staff record that consent against the person’s record, with the date and time and who recorded it. Without that record, Love Moves cannot text them at all.
5. The person receives the confirmation message below.

The kinds of messages sent

• Love Moves: reminder — you have an appointment tomorrow at 2:00pm. Reply STOP to opt out.
• Love Moves: there's an update on your request. Please call us when you can. Reply STOP to opt out.
• Love Moves: thanks for signing up to volunteer Saturday 9am. Reply STOP to opt out.

Stopping, and getting help

• Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts immediately. It is honored straight away and no further messages are sent.
• Reply HELP for help, or contact Love Moves directly.
• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
• Messages are never sold, and the number is never shared with anyone else for marketing.
